Design & Build
The ULTRA Q translates the architecture of the statement OLYMPUS-ULTRA into a more compact equipment-support system. Its aluminium-alloy framework follows the flagship rack’s distinctive cuts and chamfers, requiring multiple CNC-machine operations to achieve its precision geometry.
Titanium-alloy spikes and connectors work with tungsten-alloy bearings to establish the rack’s mechanical interface. When equipped with ULTRA DIAMOND or ULTRA PLATINUM filters, the system adds a dual-zone, 12-stage damping structure engineered to control unwanted mechanical energy beneath sensitive audio components.
System Pairing
The ULTRA Q is suitable for digital sources, turntables, preamplifiers, integrated amplifiers, power conditioners and power amplifiers. Its custom vertical spacing allows each rack to be configured around the owner’s specific equipment.
Compatible ULTRA DIAMOND and ULTRA PLATINUM filters provide the highest specified damping architecture, while Sapphire 2 shelves offer an additional compatible support option. Higher-capacity filters may also be specified for unusually heavy components.
