Design & Build
The CENTER STAGE ULTRA TD applies Critical Mass Systems’ thermodynamic approach to vibration management through more than 30 internal damping contact points of varying dimensions. These elements are precisely tuned around the footer’s materials, geometry and mass.
With a height of approximately one inch, the ULTRA TD provides greater clearance than the low-profile ULTRA TC without the additional height or adjustment mechanism of the ULTRA TT. It is designed to manage energy transfer between the component and its supporting surface rather than attempting to block vibration completely.
System Pairing
The ULTRA TD can be installed beneath digital sources, disc players, streamers, D/A converters, turntables, phono stages, preamplifiers, integrated amplifiers, power amplifiers, power supplies and power conditioners.
It should be used on a stable, flat supporting surface with other aftermarket isolation devices removed. Critical Mass Systems recommends allowing 7–10 days for the footer and supported component to settle and approximately 14 days before making a final performance evaluation.
