Design & Build
MXK SPIKES & CUPS provide a stable mechanical interface between a compatible Critical Mass Systems isolation shelf and the floor or supporting surface. Each set contains four spikes and four matching cups, creating a complete support system for one platform.
Their compact one-inch height keeps the finished installation low to the floor, while the 250 lb capacity accommodates many substantial high-end audio components.
System Pairing
MXK SPIKES & CUPS are intended for use with Sapphire 2, ULTRA PLATINUM and ULTRA DIAMOND shelves configured as standalone amplifier or component platforms.
The system is especially suitable for large power amplifiers, integrated amplifiers, power conditioners and external power supplies that are better positioned close to the floor or cannot be accommodated within a conventional equipment rack.
