Design & Build
The CENTER STAGE ULTRA TC applies Critical Mass Systems’ thermodynamic approach to vibration management in a compact footer engineered for electronic components. More than 30 damping contact points of varying dimensions are tuned around the materials, mass and geometry of the footer.
Rather than attempting to block vibration completely, the ULTRA TC manages energy transfer between the component and its supporting surface. Its compact dimensions allow it to fit beneath a wide range of audio electronics without substantially increasing their installed height.
System Pairing
The CENTER STAGE ULTRA TC can be used beneath digital sources, disc players, streamers, D/A converters, turntables, phono stages, preamplifiers, integrated amplifiers, power amplifiers, power supplies and power conditioners.
For best results, the footers should be placed on a stable, flat supporting surface. Critical Mass Systems recommends removing other aftermarket isolation devices when installing the ULTRA TC and allowing at least 7–10 days for the component and footer system to settle, with approximately 14 days recommended before making final evaluations.
