Design & Build
OLYMPUS-ULTRA treats the rack structure and equipment filters as one integrated vibration-management system. Its rigid aluminium-alloy framework directs mechanical energy predictably into a proprietary dual-zone, 12-stage damping architecture.
The upper and lower six-stage zones each employ a 25-layer sandwich grouped into constrained-damping layers. Differing metal alloys, acrylic compounds and damping materials are arranged in a calculated sequence to control resonance while maintaining balanced energy transfer into and away from the supported component.
Every exposed framework edge is progressively polished to a mirror finish. The polished sections are masked before primer, paint and clear coat are applied, oven stabilized and wet-sanded to produce the finished surface.
System Pairing
OLYMPUS-ULTRA was originally developed for turntables but is designed to support every component in a reference audio system, including digital sources, preamplifiers, power supplies, amplifiers and power-distribution products.
Each rack is made to order. It can be configured as a single-component amplifier platform, a conventional vertical rack or a wide side-by-side installation. Vertical spacing is specified around the owner’s components, and higher-capacity filters are available for equipment exceeding the standard 200 lb limit.
