Design & Build
The Ground Cable forms the connection between the Compás and the loudspeaker. Its conductor geometry, insulation and terminations are selected to provide a stable path through which unwanted electrical energy can be transferred to the passive grounding device.
Each cable is assembled and terminated by hand. Connection hardware may be selected according to the loudspeaker’s binding posts and the installation requirements.
System Pairing
A stereo Compás installation requires two ground cables: one for the left loudspeaker and one for the right. Each cable normally connects the Compás to the negative binding post of its corresponding loudspeaker.
The ground cables should be routed away from AC cables where practical and installed without tension. Compatibility should be confirmed for active loudspeakers or amplifiers employing balanced or bridged output circuits.
