Design & Build
The Compás is designed to provide a passive artificial-ground reference for a stereo pair of loudspeakers. Its composite enclosure contains a proprietary mixture of natural minerals and precious metals selected to absorb and dissipate unwanted electrical energy.
Custom terminal connections provide secure attachment for the dedicated grounding cables, while solid-steel feet create a stable mechanical foundation. The passive design requires no power supply and introduces no active circuitry into the system.
System Pairing
One Compás is normally positioned between a pair of loudspeakers. A dedicated ground cable runs from the Compás to the negative binding post of each speaker.
The system is intended for passive loudspeakers. Compatibility should be confirmed before connection to active loudspeakers, powered bass systems or amplifiers with balanced, bridged or unconventional output stages.
