Design & Build
The DreamPlay XC brings Kalista’s complete digital architecture into its iconic tripod form, combining aluminium, acrylate and stainless steel to control resonance and mechanically isolate its critical components.
Its conversion circuitry and analogue output stages receive dedicated power from the dual Elektra external supply, separating sensitive audio circuits from the disc mechanism and digital processing sections. Electronic boards are hand-soldered, and every unit is assembled by Métronome Technologie’s technicians in France.
System Pairing
With disc playback, streaming, D/A conversion and Leedh Processing volume control in one component, the DreamPlay XC can serve as the centre of a reference digital system.
Its balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs can be connected to a conventional preamplifier or integrated amplifier. Leedh Processing also allows the XC to drive a compatible power amplifier directly, creating an exceptionally streamlined high-end system.
