Design & Build
Reference² applies Crystal Cable’s SG² Silver-Gold metallurgy to both analogue and impedance-controlled digital connections. The analogue models use coaxial geometries with Kapton and Teflon insulation, while silver-plated-copper shielding protects the signal from interference.
The digital cables employ individually shielded pairs with an additional outer shield. Their quadruple-twisted-pair construction is designed to preserve impedance and minimize externally induced noise.
System Pairing
Reference² is particularly well suited to systems combining analogue components with separate digital transports, servers, converters or clocks. RCA, BNC and XLR digital options accommodate S/PDIF and AES/EBU connections.
Matching interconnect, phono, loudspeaker and power cables allow the same conductor technology to be maintained throughout the system.
